FINE ARTS

Maryly Snow was born in Oakland, where she currently maintains her studio. She is a painter, photographer, printmaker, and collector of toothbrushes. Her most recent work is the Memory Traces series of chine colle photoetchings based on a bubble chamber photograph from the Lawrence Berkeley Lab. This work continues her long-time fascination with the relationship between art and science which she affectionately calls "Art For Physicists".
Snow has been a member of California Society of Printmakers since 1989. Maryly has been the librarian at the Architecture Slide and Photograph Library, University of California, Berkeley since 1979.
